The Historic Waco Foundation maintains and operates five historic houses in Waco, all dating from between 1858 and 1884. Architectural styles of these homes range from the Greek Revival McCulloch House to the Italianate Villa-inspired East Terrace house; each home is filled with period-appropriate furnishings and items from prior owners. All of the houses are located within a mile and a half of one another, on both sides of the Brazos River, with the southernmost house sitting just north of Baylor University.
Main office open Mon. - Fri. 9:00 a.m. - noon and 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Other homes open Sat. - Sun. 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.; East Terrace house also open Tue. - Fri. 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
First house: Adults $3; Seniors (62+) $2.50; Students $2; Children under 6 are free. Additional houses $2 each.
