Cameron Park Zoo houses animals from across the globe and regions all around Texas in fantastic, AZA-accredited natural-seeming habitats. Its featured area is the Brazos River Country exhibit, which leads visitors through a variety of settings, from a massive aquarium housed within a recreated Spanish galleon to behind a waterfall where jaguars and other animals revel in the warm sun. Located on the far southern end of Cameron Park along the Brazos River, the zoo is less than two miles north of Baylor University.
